Viacom18 wins two Golden City Gate Awards at ITB, Berlin 2023

Viacom18 won two coveted Golden City Gate Awards at the ITB in Berlin in 2023. The awards were given in honour of the exceptional production of the Incredible India television commercial, which was commissioned by the Government of India’s Ministry of Tourism.

This achievement demonstrates Viacom18’s unwavering dedication to producing innovative and impactful branded content for its customers.

The ITB is regarded as one of the industry’s most illustrious platforms, bringing together travel and tourism professionals from around the world under one roof for networking and showcasing various travel destinations and cutting-edge tourism products.

The Golden City Gate Tourism Multi-Media Awards are highly regarded in the industry and are presented yearly at ITB events in a variety of tourism and hospitality-related categories.

The International ‘Golden City Gate Tourism Awards 2023’ went to Viacom18 in the Golden & Silver Star division. The prizes were presented at ITB Berlin 2023 in the categories of “TV/Cinema Commercials International and Country International.”

The two award-winning television commercials portray effective and long-lasting multi-media tourism promotional campaigns based on the subject of ‘Confidence Building/Reassurance’ to encourage international and domestic travel. By sending out positive messages, the campaigns emphasize India as a safe travel location post-Covid.
