Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) have renewed their multi-year media rights agreement, strengthening their five-year partnership and expanding AEW’s reach across various platforms.
This deal ensures WBD’s networks will continue to be the exclusive home of AEW’s flagship shows — AEW Dynamite (airing Wednesdays on TBS) and AEW Collision. Additionally, the agreement includes enhanced distribution rights across social platforms, and future plans for expanding AEW content on both linear and digital platforms.
Starting in January 2025, AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision will stream live exclusively on Max for US subscribers, with all programming also available on demand. This will be the first time AEW programming is streamed live on Max, offering fans even more access to their favourite wrestling shows.
In a significant shift, AEW and WBD will collaborate to distribute AEW live pay-per-view (PPV) events on Max at discounted prices. These PPV events will begin appearing on Max later in 2025, with more details and pricing to be announced in the coming months.
Kathleen Finch, Chairman and CEO of US Networks at WBD, expressed her excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to strike this expanded agreement to deliver amazing new AEW content and stories to TNT and TBS, as well as bring the thrilling live action to Max for the first time.”
She emphasized WBD’s commitment to creating fresh and authentic experiences for AEW’s passionate fanbase.
