903 govt.-cleared TV channels; active DTH subs 65 mn: TRAI

About 903 private satellite TV channels have been permitted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) for uplinking and downlinking, which includes uplink only entities also, broadcast regulator TRAI said yesterday.
