According to reports, Meta-owned WhatsApp is working on a new feature that would allow users to publish their status updates to Facebook stories without leaving WhatsApp.
According to IANS, users could previously publish status updates to Facebook stories, but they had to go through the extra step of manually uploading the update each time they posted something new.
However, thanks to this new feature, the procedure may now be automatic for certain status updates that users select when the option is activated.
According to the article, users will notice a new option “share my status updates across my accounts” in the WhatsApp Status Privacy setting, where they can link their Facebook account.
Furthermore, the source stated that this option will be optional and will be disabled by default.
If users want particular status updates to be shared to Facebook stories without quitting WhatsApp, they can enable this option in the Status Privacy settings.
Furthermore, according to the source, this capability will save users time and effort when manually sharing their status updates with Facebook Stories without leaving WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is apparently developing a new feature called “audio chats,” which will be available within discussions in a future Android release.
A new waves symbol will be added to the chat header, allowing users to start audio chats, and a red button will be added to stop existing calls.
