WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is rolling out a screen-sharing feature for video calls to some Windows beta testers.
According to IANS, beta users can now share the content of their screen by selecting the specific option available within the video call bottom control.
When users select this option, they will be given the option of sharing a specific window or the entire screen with everyone on the video call.
Users can also share the content of their screen with those who are connected to the call via mobile devices.
According to the report, the screen-sharing feature for video calls is currently available for some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows updates, and it is expected to roll out to more users in the coming days.
Meanwhile, it was reported last week that the messaging platform was releasing a crop tool for the drawing editor in Windows beta.
