YouTube announced on Saturday that its streaming television service’s new ‘multiview’ feature is now available to all users. Subscribers can watch up to four different programs at the same time.

From its YouTube TV account, the company tweeted: “Wow! We understand! For the remainder of the tournament, we will be providing multiview streams to ALL users.”

“We had no intention of releasing this outside of our test group so soon. Please be patient as we fine-tune and resolve known issues. Enjoy multiview as we prepare for a big fall,” it said.

In response to the announcement, one user inquired, “Is there any chance it’ll ever have more than two screens? That is the first time I’ve seen it.”

The platform, according to an IANS report from San Francisco, responded by saying, “We’re still figuring out the best configurations because this is a pilot feature. Depending on when games are scheduled to begin and end, you may see 2 to 4 streams displayed together.”

The company announced the ‘multiview’ feature earlier last week and stated that early access to multiview will be available to all YouTube TV members over the next few months.
