According to a press release, Zee Media’s flagship channel, Zee News, has outpaced its competitors in the news media genre. In Week 49 of 2024, Zee News garnered a remarkable reach of 52.2 mn, surpassing prominent rivals such as TV9 Bharatvarsh, India TV, Times Now Navbharat, and ABP News. On free platforms, Zee News reached 22 mn viewers, making it the number one channel, further solidifying its position in a highly competitive market.
Zee News continues to engage its audience with popular prime-time shows like ‘Rajneeti, Baat Pate Ki’, ‘Deshhit’, and DNA, which contribute significantly to its viewership growth. Rahul Sinha, Managing Editor of Zee News, emphasized the channel’s focus on covering all types of news, from national events to local stories, ensuring that it remains relevant to the diverse needs of its audience.
