The Walt Disney Company and Kraft Heinz have entered into a long-term, multi-year strategic alliance spanning foodservice, media, events and consumer experiences, the companies said yesterday.
According to a media statement issued yesterday from Chicago, under the agreement, 10 Kraft Heinz brands will be integrated across Disney’s North American parks and resorts, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney’s studios and streaming platforms.
The collaboration will introduce new menu items, guest experiences and product offerings at hundreds of dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line sailings from North America.
It will also include new HEINZ condiment stations and custom-designed equipment across Disney parks, alongside integrated marketing campaigns, digital content and brand-led campaigns across Disney’s media platforms.
The companies said the alliance would create opportunities involving Disney’s franchises while combining Kraft Heinz’s food portfolio with Disney’s storytelling to deliver new dining experiences and consumer offerings.
The partnership will also feature activations at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, US, from August 14-16, where HEINZ will showcase new sauces from its Sauce Vault.
The companies said the alliance will roll out across North American Disney parks, resorts and cruises through the year.
