The makers of ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat’, the much-awaited sequel to the cult Telugu hit ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’, have officially announced that the film will release worldwide on November 19, 2026. The announcement comes as fans celebrate eight years of the original film, which has continued to enjoy immense popularity since its release in 2018.
The release date was unveiled through a feel-good video featuring the franchise’s popular friendship anthem, instantly bringing back memories of the beloved Kanyaraasi gang that struck a chord with audiences. According to reports, the timing of the announcement has added to the nostalgia surrounding the original film’s anniversary celebrations, IANS reported.
Directed by Tharun Bhascker, the sequel reunites Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam and Venkatesh Kakumanu, bringing back the chemistry that made the first film a fan favourite. Actor Srinath Maganti has also joined the cast, adding a fresh dynamic to the group.
Released in 2018, ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ earned praise for its honest and humorous portrayal of friendship, ambition and youthful aspirations. Over the years, the film attained cult status, particularly among younger audiences, and its recent re-release received an overwhelming response from fans, further cementing its legacy.
The sequel, titled ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat’ (ENE Repeat), aims to build on that success while retaining the quirky storytelling style associated with Tharun Bhascker. The film is being produced by Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy under the banners of S Originals and Rootnode Cinema.
Production on the film has already progressed significantly. Earlier this year, the team completed an extensive shooting schedule in Thailand. Images released from the set showcased the lead cast enjoying a road-trip-style sequence in a vintage blue convertible, capturing the carefree spirit that defined the original film.
The technical crew also features several familiar names. Music is being composed by Vivek Sagar, whose soundtrack played a major role in the success of the first film. Cinematography is being handled by AJ Aaron, while Raviteja Girijala is overseeing editing duties.
With the original film continuing to enjoy a loyal fan following and the core cast returning for another adventure, expectations are high for ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat’. The November 19 release date now sets the stage for one of the most anticipated Telugu film releases of the year.
