The much-anticipated film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan‘, featuring Sara Ali Khan, is set to release its official trailer on March 4, as announced by producer Karan Johar on Instagram.
In a poignant video, Johar paid homage to India’s unsung heroes, introducing Usha, a courageous 22-year-old who played a pivotal role during the 1942 Quit India Movement, utilizing an underground radio to mobilize the nation against British rule, ANI reported from New Delhi.
‘Ae Watan Mere Watan‘, inspired by real-life events, unfolds the fictional tale of an underground radio station managed by a brave young girl, echoing the incredible journey of freedom fighter Usha Mehta.
The film beautifully captures the valour, patriotism, sacrifice, and determination exhibited by India’s youth throughout the freedom movement.
Karan Johar, sharing the trailer release date, captioned the video on his Insta stories with “#AeWatanMereWatan Trailer out on March 4th.”
The film is set to stream on the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video starting March 21. As anticipation builds, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan‘ promises to be a compelling narrative that pays respects to both recognized and unseen warriors who shaped India’s destiny.
